• István Nádler is one of the internationally best-known Hungarian artists of post-war modernism and is considered an important representative of the neo-avant-garde in Hungary.
• From the group of the ‘Meditation Pictures’ centred on the interplay of blue and black.
• In the year of its creation, Nádler took up a guest professorship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
• Acquired directly from the artist and offered on the international auction market for the first time.

Overall slightly dusty and with craquelure in the blue area of the painting, running mainly horizontally. The blue overall with varying degrees of gloss. A small chipping in the upper right corner. Very small isolated rubbed spots. The condition report was compiled in daylight and with the help of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
