Complete copy from this de-luxe edition of the richly illustrated magazine. With orig. lithographs by E. Barlach (Schult 63 -73), M. Beckmann (Hofmaier 76), K. Kollwitz (Klipstein 126), M. Liebermann (Schiefler 172-180, 182-197), H. Meid, M. Slevogt and K. Walser as well as E. Büttner, M. Unold, A. Gaul, W. Jaeckel, O. Hettner, J. Bato, A. Kampf et al. Issue 63 with a lithograph by M. Liebermann ('Trommelnder Infanterist II'), that Schiefler does not mention. - Each issue of this de-luxe edition was published with a ms. copy number and the accordingly changed publisher's imprint. Numbers 1-28 were printed on Old Stratford-laid paper, issues 29-38 on Strathmore Japon (each with watermark) and the following numbers on Japon imiteé. 3 issues with differing lithographs, of which 1 new and 2 from the original double number 64/65; this last issue is not included as a double number in the de-luxe edition and contains 4 of the usually 8 prints. - Portfolio with minor blemishes. Else fine, clean and complete copy. Extremely rare, Jentsch calls this "presumably" de-luxe edition "not verifiable".
