Signed and inscribed with the work number "154" as well as inscribed "Badehütten" in lower left by a hand other than that of the artist. On wove paper. 18.7 x 23 cm (7.3 x 9 in). Sheet: 27,7 x 36,5 cm (10,9 x 14,3 in).

• Probably created in early 1915 after a watercolor from 1914, before Schmidt-Rottluff was drafted for military service in Russia and Lithuania in May 1915.
• Very rare: In the last 20 years, only one other copy of the etching has been offered on the international auction market (source: artprice.com).
• Another copy is in the collection of the Hamburger Kunsthalle
