With inscription refering to 'Schlesische Museum der bildenden Künste', Wroclaw.
The painting "Pietà" by Lovis Corinth, dated 1889, was in the Museum Magdeburg and was destroyed in 1945. [CB].
Prof. Thomas Deecke, Berlin, has confirmed the sheets authenticity. The expertise was not available before going to printing.
