Einbd. beschabt und bestoßen, Rücken mit Fehlstellen. Karten breitrandig und meist in kräftigen Abdrucken.First edition of this early and important special atlas of Africa. With 18 doublepage engr. maps hand coloured in outline (1 general map and 17 special maps of different countries, kingdoms and coasts, including one each of the Canary Islands, Madagascar and Malta). Contemp. calf. - Partly somewhat soiled (affecting only few maps), in the white margins waterstained (last leaves stronger). Binding rubbed and bumped, spine with defective spots. Maps broadmargined and mostly in strong impressions.
