(Leclerc) - Die beiden anderen Tafeln zeigen den großen Tempel von Mexiko und den Azteken-Kalendar. Ferner mit 1 Karte Mexikos von J. A. Alzate y Ramirez (1769). Die fehlende Karte von der Küste Kaliforniens durch ein Faksimile ersetzt. - Wenige Bll. gering fleckig, die Karte mit 2 Braunflecken, kl. Fehlstelle und neu angefalzt (seitl. Einriß dadurch hinterl.); Titel und 2 Schlußbll. mit kl. Sammlerstempel, Titel ferner mit geringem Druckabklatsch. Einbd. bestoßen, Rücken beschädigt. Innen sauberes und breitrandiges Exemplar. - Exlibris.First edition. With engr. title-vignette, engr. frontispiece, 1 engr. folding map (of 2) and 33 (1 folding) copperplates. Contemp. vellum. - Lacking the map of California, replaced by fac-simile. Minim. staining here and there, the map (newly bound in) with 2 brownstains, backed tear and small defective spot; small collector's stamp to title and 2 leaves at end, title moreover with minor reversed impression. Binding bumped, spine damaged. Inside clean and broadmargined copy. Bookplate.
