Second edition of this translation. Unique copy with the additionally bound in illustrations after Johannot, from the French edition of Werther. With 4 etched plates, 7 copper plates bound in and 10 etched plates on China. Contemp. smoothed brown half calf (sign. "Noulhac") with red morocco label, ornamental gilt spine and top edge gilt. - Very nice wide-margined print on untrimmed, chamois-col. paper, with bookplate.
