First edition of this scarce monograph on wingless insects. Fine printing on thick paper, with 9 colored plates depicting insects and numerous anatomical details. Later half cloth with label on spine. - First text leaf (preface of the publ.) with trace of damp to margin and with contemp. note, else here and there minor staining to outer margins. Well-preserved and wide-margined copy.
