, white, glazed. Polychrome, gilded in places.
Height: 21 cm (8,2 in).
Model by Johann Joachim Kändler, around 1755.
Figure is part of a group of at least four ancient monarchs: Cyrus of Persia, Alexander of Greece and Julius Ceasar of Rome as well as Nimrod of Babylon.
Nimrod wears a robe and a baton in his right hand. A flat cap on his head. A winged lion at his feet.
Bottom open, blue crossed sword mark inside.
A figure of Nimrod is in possession of the porcelain collection of the State Collection Dresden. Inventory number PE 347.
