• Splendid still life in the dark, rich and lush coloring typical of the artist's later period of creation.
• Family-owned for 25 years.
• Another version of this still life is at the Museum Ludwig in Cologne (inventory number ML 76/3012).
The work is registered at the Hans Purrmann Archive with the number 177/1950/3.
