• Spontaneous charcoal drawing characterized by great expressiveness.
• Close-up figure sketch that served Heckel as basis for later paintings and prints.

In good condition consistent of the age. Sheet with tiny isolated brownish spots and with slight handling marks in lower margin. Center of upper margin with a tiny hole, presumably from the making. Center of the sheet with a pale horizontal pressue mark and a color trace. Charcoal slightly wiped in places.
