• Lyonel Feininger spent time in Zirchow on the Baltic island of Usedom on several occasions.
• He depicts the town's church in several important paintings, among them 'Zirchow V', 1916 (Brooklyn Museum, New York).
• Clear characteriztation of St. Jacob church in Zirchow after nature

In good condition. Edges minimally wrinkled in places. Left margin slightly irregular, as this sheet presumably comes from a sketch block. [EH]
