Die weiblichen Gestalten gehören zu den beliebtesten malerischen Themen Karl Hofers. Seine "Lithographien zu den Liebesgedichten reflektieren das Literarische nur im allgemeinen; die Mädchen werden in einer Umgebung erlebt, in sich beschlossen in einem Zustand, der den dichterischen Gehalt erhöht" (K. Martin im Vorwort zu Rathenau, S. 8). - Unsignierte und nicht numerierte Folge, beiliegend numerierter Druckvermerk. Blattgröße 32, 5 : 25 cm (1 abweichend 28 : 21,5 cm).
- ZUSTAND: Tls. schwach stockfl. und minim. angeschmutzt (meist im weißen Randbereich), tls. leichte Griffknicke, 4 Taf. verso mit Montierungsresten.

Sheet size 32.5 : 25 cm (1 differing: 28 : 21.5 cm). - Partly slightly foxed and minim. soiled (mostly in the white margins), some slight handling creases, 4 plates with traces of mounting on the verso.

another 1 % for the part of the sales proceeds from 200,000.01 to 350,000 euros,
another 0.5 % for the part of the sale proceeds from 350,000.01 to 500,000 euros and
another 0.25 % of the hammer price over 500,000 euros.
The maximum total of the resale right fee is EUR 12,500.
The artist‘s resale right compensation is VAT-exempt.
