• They are the result of his powerful and gestural brushstrokes, streaks of color, shimmering blobs and drips.
• He is regarded as one of the main representatives of Tachism, a French form of Informalism.
• One year after it was created, he took part in documenta II in Kassel.

In good condition. Overall slightly browned, somewhat more so along the sheet edges. Small creases in the left margin and isolated small foxed spots.
