Signed in the center of the bottom edge. 159 x 109 cm (62.5 x 42.9 in) [JS].

• Early composition by the German master of Color Field Painting.
• Graubner's gentle play with color gradients and the subtle nuances of color is fascinating.
• By soaking the canvas with highly diluted paint, Graubner achieved a fascinating mist-like application of the pigments.
• Most recently, the MKM Museum Küppersmühle in Duisburg, among others, honored Graubner's oeuvre in the exhibition "Farbe Absolut. Katharina Grosse x Gotthard Graubner" (2019/20).
• Gotthard Graubner's works are in numerous important collections, among them the Städel Museum, Frankfurt am Main, the Contemporary Art Collection of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin
