• Lambert Maria Wintersberger is one of the most versatile representatives of German post-war painting.
• One year after the creation of this work, Wintersberger was awarded the Centre Européen d'Actions Artistiques Contemporaines in Strasbourg.
• 1964 saw the founding of the artists' gallery Großgörschen 35 in Berlin, also joined by Markus Lüpertz and K. H. Hödicke.

In good condition. With a small section with minor cracks in the transition from dark to light blue in the upper right corner , and with isolated spots of craquelure on the skin. A retouched spot is visible in UV light in the lower part of the picture. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
