Ausgabe 1603 oder 1609 (verso letzte Textzeile beginnend mit "Classe ex Limano"). - Schöne, reich geschmückte Karte des Pazifischen Ozeans mit Japan, Teilen Chinas, Philippinen, Neuguinea, Salomoninseln, Australien ("Terra ... nondum detecta"), und Nord- und Südamerika. Mit 2 dekorativen kolor. Schmuckkartuschen und Segelschiff des Fernando Magellan. Latein. Rückentext. - Leicht gebräunt und stellenw. etw. fleckig. Mittelfalte unten bis wenig über den Plattenrand eingerissen. 2 kl. Randeinrisse. 2 kl. Schabstellen in der Darstellung.
First state with date 1589 from the Latin edition 1603 or 1609 (first words of last line "Classe ex Limano"). - Beautiful map of the Pacific Ocean with Japan, parts of China, Philippine Islands, New Guinea, Salomon Islands, Australia and larger parts of North and South America. Slightly browned and partly somewhat soiled. Split in centrefold up into the platemark. 2 small marginal tears, 2 small abrasions to illustration.
