Rare first edition of the economic treatise. Contemp. half calf with label on spine. - Canard was the first to introduce mathematics to the field of economics. The treatise was much discussed mainly because of the author's critical attitude towards the justice of tax politics and systems. Containing the "Décret concernant les contrefacteurs" with signature stamp of the author in the beginning and the rare publisher's catalogue at the end. Clean copy except for a few foxmarks.
