With copper title, 5 engr. subtitles, 1 engr. calendar, 13 portrait coppers and 1 armorial copper and 15 copper plates and 4 double page copper maps. Nuremberg, C. Endter 1670. Contemp. blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards with brass clasps. Folio. 18 ll., 32 ll., 1118 pp., 416 pp., 9 ll., 1 blank leaf.
Jahn p. 64. - Weimar elector's bible, with the large copper plate showing the enacting of the Augsburg Confession in 1530 at the end. - With slight worming in places. Ca. 40 ll. at the beginning and at the end (among them the title, 5 portraits and 4 coppers) with obvious marginal defects (partly with some loss of image and partly uncomely mended). Cover of binding loosened in places and with traces of damp, spine with small defective spots and rubbed, inner joints loosened. 1 brass clasp and 1 thong removed.
