From the group of works known as Surface Developments [Flächenabwicklungen]. Starting with the observation that, when the viewer is moving of regular parts of a sculpture, regular sequences are created on the ground, ground drawings, as it were, the artist developed skeletal frames, pyramids, cones, tetrahedra and circle segments. These sculptures not only look different spatially but also develop a flat ground image independently of the spatial phenomena thus generated. [NB]
