(Ferchl). - "This work has gained some importance with the advent of colloid chemistry, as it is the first describing a metal in a colloidal state, i. e. gold. The ingenious authoress is not in D. N. B." (Sotheran I, 175) "The authoress claims to have invented 'making cloths of gold, silver, and other metals, by chemical processes'.
