Contains the woodcuts from the orig. edition from 1517, which were printed from the rediscovered orig. printing blocks, most of them at hand in fine impressions. The appendix contains a description of Maximilian's life. - Minimally stained in places, impressions of woodcuts partly somewhat pushing through, appendix with old underscores, first 3 ll. with small trace of worming. Binding slightly stained and with minor worming. All in all fine and broadmargined copy with engr. armorial bookplate.
