Oldenbourg, Schäufelein L 127. - Muther 853. - Cf. Fairfax Murray 329. - Not in VD 17. - Undated edition of the important work with woodcuts, republished by M. Schultes in 1679. Contains the woodcuts from the orig. edition from 1517, which were printed from the rediscovered orig. printing blocks, most of them at hand in fine impressions. The appendix contains a description of Maximilian's life. - Minimally stained in places, impressions of woodcuts partly somewhat pushing through, appendix with old underscores, first 3 ll. with small trace of worming. Binding slightly stained and with minor worming. All in all fine and broadmargined copy with engr. armorial bookplate.

Undated edition by M. Schultes with the beautiful woodcuts of the original edition from 1517. Contains engr. frontispiece and 117 woodcuts by Schäufelein, Burgkmair and others. Contemp. vellum. - Minim. staining in places, printing of the woodcuts partly shining through, the appendix (life of Maximilian) with underlinings by old hand, first 3 leaves with small wormtrace. Binding with few stains and some wormholes. Good copy with wide margins. Engr. heraldic bookplates.
