Druck der Graphiken im Atelier Mourlot, Paris. - Die Idee zu dem berühmten Buch stammt bereits aus dem Jahr 1941, sie fußt auf der Anthologie von Liebesgedichten Ronsards aus der Ausgabe von 1578. Tatsächlich erschien das Werk dann aber erst nach dem Krieg 1948 in Paris. Loose quires in illustrated original dust jacket, in violet-colored half leather cover and in illustrated slipcase. Some minimal foxing in the outer margins, spine faded. Overall good and clean copy of the famous edition.
