With the estate stamp and various inscriptions and numbers on the reverse. On firm Van Gelder Zonen wove paper (with the watermark). 65 x 50 cm (25.5 x 19.6 in), size of sheet.

• The experimental artist used a brush to create fine structures in the color field and incorporated the paper ground into the painting.
