• Pastose work in strong colors from this important creative period when the artist celebrated her first professional success.
• Works from the 1930s are very rare as many her works were destroyed in her studio in a WWII air raid.
• Ida Kerkovius is among the most renowned representatives of German Modernism. Her works are part of the collections of, among others, the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, the Museum Ludwig, Cologne, the Städel Museum, Frankfurt/Main and the Leopold-Hoesch-Museum, Düren.
