Erste Ausgabe, posthum veröffentlicht. Graziani schildert detailliert die Eroberung der venezianischen Insel Zypern durch das Osmanische Reich (z. B. die Belagerung von Nikosia). Er behandelt die militärischen und politischen Konflikte und analysiert die verschiedenen Akteure, die an diesen Konflikten beteiligt waren.
