• In this work, K.R.H. Sonderborg expands his color palette—which is otherwise limited to black and white—to include red.
• Exhibited several times shortly after its creation.
• Sonderborg participated in documenta II and III in 1959 and 1964, as well as in the Venice Biennale in 1964 and 1970.
• The artist’s works are among the most striking examples of the German Informel and can be found in the Museum of Modern Art, New York, among other places.
