Signed in the lower left corner. With a label on the reverse inscribed “Actstudie zu den Badenden Toni 1924” by hand. 45 x 50 cm (17.7 x 19.6 in).

• A compelling symbiosis of intimacy and contemplative thought.
• In 1928, Leo Putz incorporated this motif into his large-format painting “Badende,” a multi-figure bathing scene at a forest lake.
• Part of the same private collection for over 40 years.
PROVENANCE: Private collection, Hesse (since 1981).
