• Ralph Fleck has been making depictions of large gatherings of people since 2003, e.g. in the series "Stadion" and "Loveparade".
• The artist breaks down the impressive visual experience of a mass of people made up of many individual people into a few courageous, pastose brushstrokes, which push the representation to the edge of abstraction.
• The artist's work are part of many renowned collections, amng them the Bavarian State Painting Collection, Munich, the collection of the Deutsche Bundestag, Berlin, the Deutsche Bank Collection, the Sprengel Museum, Hanover, the Hypovereinsbank Collection, Munich and others.
• Ralph Fleck can already look back on important solo exhibitions and exhibition participations, among them at the MKM Museum Küppersmühle für Moderne Kunst, Duisburg (2015), at Museum für Neue Kunst, Freiburg (2014), at the Kunsthalle Mannheim (2011) and at the Staatliche Kunsthalle, Karlsruhe (2011/1995).
