Folge von 7 signierten und numerierten Orig.-Radierungen zu Poesie in Schwarz-Weiß . Freiburg, Abstracta Verlag 1959. Auf festem chamoisfarbenen Velin. Bis 32 : 23,5 cm, Papierformat 48 : 35,8 cm.

Diese Arbeiten entstanden in der Zeit, als Schumacher mit seiner informellen Kunst international Anerkennung fand.

1 von 40 numerierten Exemplaren, unter Glas gerahmt. - Die Graphikfolge spiegelt Schumachers experimentelle Herangehensweise und seine Meisterschaft in der Druckgraphik wider. Sie bleibt ein bedeutendes Beispiel für seine künstlerische Entwicklung und seinen Beitrag zur abstrakten Kunst.

- ZUSTAND: Alle kaum merklich lichtrandig, vereinz. minim. Knitterspuren in den Rändern. Verso an 2 Stellen auf Karton montiert. Insgesamt schöne Folge. - PROVENIENZ: Privatsammlung Berlin. - Ketterer Kunst Auktion 290, Los 296. - Seit 2004 in süddeutscher Privatsammlung.

1 of 40 numb. copies, framed under glass. These works were created at a time when Schumacher was gaining international recognition for his informal art. Series of 7 signed and numbered orig. etchings for "Poetry in Black and White". 1959. On strong vellum. Up to 32 : 23.5 cm, paper format 48 : 35.8 cm. - All barely noticeably sunned, a few minimal marginal creases. Mounted on cardboard in 2 places on the verso. Overall, nice series.

This lot can be purchased subject to differential or regular taxation, artist‘s resale right compensation is due.

Differential taxation:
Hammer prices up to € 200,000: 32 % buyer's premium.
Hammer prices above € 200,000: for the share up to € 200,000: 32%, for the share above € 200,000: 27% buyer's premium.
The buyer's premium contains VAT, however, it is not shown.

Regular taxation:
Hammer prices up to € 200,000: 25 % buyer's premium. Hammer prices above € 200,000: for the share up to € 200,000: 25%, for the share above € 200.000: 20% buyer's premium.
The statutory VAT of currently 7 % is levied to the sum of hammer price and premium.

Calculation of artist‘s resale right compensation:
For works by living artists, or by artists who died less than 70 years ago, a artist‘s resale right compensation is levied in accordance with Section 26 UrhG:
4 % of hammer price from 400.00 euros up to 50,000 euros,
another 3 % of the hammer price from 50,000.01 to 200,000 euros,
another 1 % for the part of the sales proceeds from 200,000.01 to 350,000 euros,
another 0.5 % for the part of the sale proceeds from 350,000.01 to 500,000 euros and
another 0.25 % of the hammer price over 500,000 euros.
The maximum total of the resale right fee is EUR 12,500.

The artist‘s resale right compensation is VAT-exempt.
