Vierte lateinische Ausgabe des berühmten Dialogo sopra i due massimi sistemi del mondo (1632), zusammen mit den Discorsi e dimonstrazioni matematiche in erster lateinischer Ausgabe, gedruckt mit eigenem Titelblatt sowie eigener Paginierung und Bogennorm. - "The Dialogo, far more than any other work, made the heliocentric system a commonplace" (PMM).
EINBAND: Zeitgenössischer Pergamentband mit hs. Rückentitel. 21 : 17 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit zahlreichen Textholzschnitten. - KOLLATION: 6 Bll., 494 S., 13 Bll.; 3 Bll., 826 (recte 282) S., 2 Bll. - ZUSTAND: Schönes, innen sauberes Exemplar. - PROVENIENZ: Innendeckel mit Wappenexlibris "Bibliothecae Hedervarianae" (d. i. Hédervár in Ungarn). - Seit mehr als fünfzig Jahren in Berliner Privatbesitz.
