Hübsche kleine Sammlung guterhaltener Miniaturbücher.
Darunter: Mignon. 3 Almanache auf die Jahre 1822, 1840 und 1845. Wien, J. Riedl (1821, 1839 und 1844). Goldgepr. Orig.-Pappband in goldgepr. Orig.-Papp-Schuber, blindgepr. Orig.-Pappband mit Goldpapierbezug in Orig.-Pappschuber mit Muschelapplikationen und goldgepr. Orig.-Pappband (Schuber fehlt). Je ca. 2 : 2,9 cm. - Lanckoronska/R. S. 195. - Das kleinste Kochbuch der Welt. Enthält über 100 practisch erprobte Recepte. Wien o. J. [um 1900]. Jugendstil-Silbereinband mit Blumenrelief auf Vordereckel, Schließe sowie Halsketten-Öse an Rückendeckel. 2,4 : 2,1 cm. 136 S. - Weiss 4184. - Bondy S. 139. - (Wilhelm Busch), Neuer Max u. Moritz. Eine Bubengeschichte in 5 Streichen. O. O. und J. (um 1910). Jugendstil-Metalleinband mit blindgepr. Deckeltitel, Schließe sowie Halsketten-Öse am Rückendeckel. 3 : 2,7 cm. 31 Bll. Mit kolor. Textillustrationen. - 2 weitere Miniaturbücher.
- ZUSTAND: Metalleinbände leicht oxidiert, die Pappeinbände stellenw. mit kl. Papierschäden, die Muschelapplikationen unvollständig, fehlt 1 Schuber. Insgesamt gut erhalten.
Collection of 7 miniature books, from 1821 to ca. 1910. Amongst others 3 Vienna almanacs 1822-1845, the smallest cookbook of the world and an illustrated edition of the stories of Max and Moritz. Orig. metall bindings, and cardboard bindings with rich gilt decoration. - Metall bindings slightly oxidated, cardboard bindings here and there with small paper defects, 1 slipcase missing, application on 1 slipcase incomplete. Overall well-preserved.
